Key Responsibilities- Oversee the client onboarding process, ensuring all Know Your Customer (KYC) checks and regulatory requirements are met.
- Lead a team of compliance professionals, driving performance, providing mentorship, and handling high-profile escalations.
- Supervise and manage Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks across a broad range of clients.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on high-risk matters and compliance strategies.
- Oversee the training of your team and wider business staff.
- Ensure that the team adheres to all relevant regulatory standards and governance principles relative to the compliance framework.
- Oversee the quality control of compliance processes, including regular audits and monitoring to ensure all regulatory obligations are fulfilled to the highest standards.
- Implement and oversee systems to ensure efficient workflows, and that each team member adheres to the firm's values and delivers consistent results.
- 3+ years' experience in a law firm's compliance team with in-depth knowledge of AML regulations.
- Proven people management experience (2+ years), with a track record of driving team performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
