Investment Director, Specialised Mid-Market Private Equity, London, UK

We are working with a well-regarded and dynamic mid-market firm, which focuses on investing in fast-growing businesses within the technology services sector. The team encompasses a collaborative approach, working closely with portfolio companies to drive growth both organically and inorganically. Investments typically target businesses with potential for significant scale and transformation. By partnering with management teams, it aims to build market-leading companies through innovative growth strategies and sector expertise. This role offers the chance to be part of a collaborative and ambitious investment environment.
Key responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to originate investment opportunities
- Leading the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities including the preparation of investment committee papers, the review and assessment of due diligence reports and the review of legal documentation
- Assisting the partners in the regular portfolio reporting process
About the ideal candidate
- Direct senior investment experience within small-to-mid market private equity with an affinity to founder led businesses
- Extensive experience and track record in leading investments
- Strong and active network across the corporate finance and broader intermediary community, banks and other relevant organisations and hubs
- Personable and comfortable working as part of a small, dedicated and highly motivated team and a friendly team player
