Paving Crew Member Wanted

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Paver to join our paving crew at Fawkes & Reece South in the Eastbourne area. In this role, you will be responsible for laying asphalt, concrete, or other materials on various surfaces, working closely with our experienced team to ensure timely project completion.

Average salary: £20-21 per hour

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operating paving machines, rollers, and other equipment to lay asphalt or concrete.
  • Preparing surfaces for paving by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers.
  • Measuring and marking areas to be paved, ensuring proper alignment and thickness.
  • Mixing and applying materials, ensuring proper consistency and application.
  • Monitoring the quality of the work to meet specifications.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Paver or in a related construction role.
  • Ability to operate paving machinery, including pavers, rollers, and other construction equipment.
  • Knowledge of materials and techniques used in paving.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
