About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire Learning in Croydon. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and social development of our students, aged 5-19, with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students in their educational and social development, providing support inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Help set up activities for students, using technology or adjusting the environment to suit their needs.
  • Support teachers, engaging with students, providing learning support, and reacting to situations in the classroom in a positive, non-disruptive manner.
  • Work 1:1 or 2:1 with some students, to give them the time and support they need to learn.
