Class 1 Night Trunk Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Night Trunk Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for trunking from Cullompton to Birmingham, Hinkley, and London, and reloading back to Cullompton. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, with a passion for delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Trunking from Cullompton to Birmingham, Hinkley, and London, and reloading back to Cullompton.
- Loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring load security.
- Completing daily vehicle checks on company phones.
- Working closely with network hubs and transport teams.
- Managing customer expectations and providing excellent customer service.
- Attending regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience with curtain-side trailers (full training provided).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Competitive salary (£39,351pa - £44,358pa, including night shift allowance).
- Monday to Friday, 48 hours per week, shifts starting between 18:00hrs - 21:00hrs.
