Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Milk Tanker Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Night Transhipment Driver, you will be responsible for delivering bulk milk to dairies across the UK, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of bulk milk to dairies across the UK
  • Transhipment role, requiring flexibility and adaptability
  • Ensuring deliveries and collections are made on time and in accordance with client requirements
  • Regular communication with the transport team for updates and managing customer expectations
  • High degree of rural driving due to customer locations
  • Attending regular training sessions to maintain skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • UK HGV Class 1 CE or Class 2 C Licence
  • Current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience with Fridge trailers preferred, but full training will be provided
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work to deadlines and meet targets
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Good geographical knowledge and ability to navigate rural areas
