About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Repair Specialist to join our team at GreenSquareAccord. As a key member of our asset management team, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions and programs of work to address responsive repairs, void property repairs, and projects across a defined geographical area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to ensure the optimal condition of our properties.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Planned Maintenance and Housing to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and health and safety requirements, including the Decent Homes Standard and Housing Health and Safety Rating System.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification or equivalent experience in a maintenance, construction field.
  • Fundamental knowledge of the construction industry, with a focus on Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or Building Surveying.
  • Experience of procurement best practice and contract management.
  • Ability to work in a cross-cutting role, collaborating with other services and teams.
  • Diplomatic and persuasive skills, with the ability to resolve conflict and influence people.
