Job Description:

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Repair Specialist to provide high-quality service and maintenance on high-speed rotating equipment, particularly centrifugal compressors, at customer sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical repair and maintenance tasks on rotating equipment, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Perform electrical fault finding and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard, meeting regulatory and quality requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Repair Specialist or similar role, with a focus on rotating equipment maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a real-world setting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a customer-facing environment.
  • A valid driving license and ability to travel extensively across the UK.
