Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UPS Field Service Engineer to join our team at OA Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support for our clients' UPS systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to perform maintenance and commissioning of UPS systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair UPS systems, batteries, switchgear, and control systems, using your expertise and technical knowledge.
  • Commissioning and Testing: Commission new UPS systems and perform thorough testing to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Accurately complete service visit reports and ensure that all recommendations for remedial actions are included.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Provide excellent communication and collaboration with internal departments and customers, ensuring seamless support and resolution of issues.
Requirements
  • Relevant Qualifications: Hold a relevant electronic qualification and electrical qualification, with hands-on experience in UPS systems.
  • Experience: Possess at least 5 years of experience working as a field engineer on UPS systems, with a strong background in power electronics and medium voltage applications.
  • Skills and Abilities: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, good personal organization skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and IT for report writing and UPS system interrogation.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold a clean Full UK driving license and ECS Card (not essential).
