Director of Patient Flow

First Clinical Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our patient flow initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hospital meets its bed capacity requirements on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to optimize patient flow, reducing delays and improving patient outcomes.
- Liaise with General Managers and Service Managers to develop service and capacity plans.
- Define and communicate local patient flow objectives that align with our organizational strategy.
- Provide strategic leadership to the Site Management and Discharge Teams, ensuring effective implementation of hospital policies.
- Coordinate and guide the implementation of our admission and discharge policies, embedding our Trust Internal Capacity and Escalation management process.
- Active involvement in the participation and delivery of our Urgent Care Program, driving quality improvement and transformation.
- Lead and support the delivery of relevant elements of our Trust QIPP and transformation programmes, ensuring seamless integration and effective outcomes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in patient flow management, with a strong understanding of hospital operations and capacity planning.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on quality and patient safety.
