Patient Flow Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team at The London Clinic. As a key member of our Customer Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient admission of patients to our wards and rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Allocate rooms according to the current admission list, working closely with Ward Managers to maintain high levels of service and quality.
- Check and monitor pre-admission documents to determine insurance cover, self-pay, or Letter of Guarantee requirements.
- Allocate follow-up admissions as far in advance as possible, with support from Ward Managers.
- Prepare daily reports on bed occupancy and capacity projections.
- Demonstrable experience of being a Manager, Team Leader, or Supervisor of a Patient Flow, Bed Management, or Admissions Office.
- Experience of applying SLAs/KPIs to drive performance is essential.
- Experience of working in a high-pressure, performance-driven environment is essential.
- Working knowledge of inpatient hospital admissions and patient pathways is desirable.
- Working within an independent healthcare environment/hospital with leadership duties is advantageous.
