Young People's Advocate

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Youth Advocate to join our team in Plymouth. In this role, you will work closely with young people who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness, providing them with the support and guidance they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with young people to identify and address their needs, developing tailored support plans to help them achieve their goals.
- Provide guidance and advice on independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, and cleaning.
- Act as a point of contact for young people, offering emotional support and a listening ear when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of young people's progress, ensuring that their safety and well-being are prioritised.
Your Profile:
- A genuine passion for working with young people and helping them achieve their goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with vulnerable individuals.
- Experience in coaching or mentoring is desirable, but not essential.
- Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of young people.
