Job Summary

As a key member of the Humber Recruitment team, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to support the transportation function of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating import and export road shipments from start to finish, ensuring seamless communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate transportation logistics, including quotation, booking, and delivery of shipments
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to resolve transportation-related issues and ensure excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, guidelines, and policies, including QA, Health & Safety, Aviation Security, and HMRC Regulations
  • Operate within Pentagon Freight Services QHSE, human resources, and standard operating procedures
  • Comply with legal requirements, including dangerous goods, customs, quarantine, and transport security
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance guidelines
  • Report all hazards, near misses, and events immediately
  • Assist the organization in times of emergency and maintain a high standard of work quality through accuracy and efficiency
Requirements
