About the Role:
As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing a communications strategy for Suffolk County Council's Archives Service. Your primary responsibility will be to create engaging marketing materials, including press releases, social media posts, newsletters, brochures, and digital content.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with colleagues across the Archives Service to develop and implement a communications strategy for all aspects of the service.
- Produce, edit, and publish marketing materials to promote exhibitions, events, and service updates.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns to drive public engagement and awareness.
- Support the Archive Service team in planning and executing community events, exhibitions, and workshops.
The Team:
You will work with a small, flexible, proactive team that is passionate about sharing Suffolk's local history and heritage with a wider audience. You will be part of a collaborative environment where you can make a meaningful impact.

- A competitive salary of £33,366 per annum (pro rata if part-time).
