About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Planning team at Lanpro. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in shaping the future of our clients' projects and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in planning, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects and managing teams. You will be responsible for leading planning projects, coordinating and overseeing projects, and undertaking business development through building upon existing client relationships and actively seeking opportunities for future business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning projects and coordinate and oversee projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to drive business growth and success.
  • Contribute to the development of the Planning team's core competencies and assist the Regional Director in the day-to-day management of the team.
  • Take a leadership role in developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and success.
  • Manage and develop junior team members to ensure effective utilization of team members and delivery of project outcomes.
  • Perform a challenging range and variety of complex technical and professional activities in the pursuit of project excellence.
Requirements
  • RTPI accredited degree or Masters in a related discipline.
  • Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
  • Significant experience working in the planning industry, ideally including some experience of working in the private sector and experience of directly managing staff or leading a team.
