Job Title: Graduate Planner

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Planner to join our dynamic Planning and Development team at CBRE.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of development management, strategic planning advisory, development promotion, infrastructure, economic development, regeneration, employment land, business case / funding and estate strategy projects.

As a Graduate Planner, you will be responsible for providing planning advice to external and internal clients across all sectors/land uses in a range of brownfield and greenfield contexts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Planning Appraisals, Local Plan Representations, Statements and Evidence documents, as appropriate, including analysis of planning policy and assessment of client proposals both against policy and other considerations.
  • Advising and coordinating project outputs from a range of disciplines/professionals, working in a multidisciplinary design team including internal and external consultants.
  • Management, including financial management, of projects including planning applications, planning appraisals, development plan representations, land promotion etc.
  • Strategic monitoring of local, regional and national planning policy and legislation.
Requirements:

We are looking for a qualified Planner/Senior Planner (MRTPI or MRICS P&D) ideally with a minimum of 1-2 years post qualification experience to join our growing Planning and Development team.

The role would suit candidates with previous planning consultancy experience, or those from a local authority Development Management or Planning Policy background at a comparable level.
