Role Purpose

Ideagen is a leading software company that provides innovative solutions to various industries. As a Senior Commercial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's commercial strategy.

Reporting to the VP of Commercial Partnering, you will be responsible for tracking performance metrics, analyzing data, and building financial models to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and manage detailed budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and analyzing trends to provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Performance Reporting: Compile and deliver monthly and quarterly regional performance reports accurately and within set deadlines, addressing any queries efficiently.
  • Risk Management: Identify and analyze business risks, offering strategies for mitigation and corrective action.
  • Relationships: Develop strong relationships across finance and regional teams, earning the trust and confidence of a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance FP&A processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of outputs, instilling confidence in stakeholders.
  • Projects: Conduct ad hoc analysis to support interpretation and decision-making, contributing to various projects as needed.

Requirements

Qualified accountant with relevant certifications.

Proven experience in a finance role within an FP&A environment.

Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for streamlining complex challenges.

Ability to distill key issues from large volumes of data with meticulous attention to detail.

Proactive and organized, with the flexibility to meet deadlines and a strong drive to achieve results.
