Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will work closely with our Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen, upholding high culinary standards, and contributing to the creation of exceptional Italian dishes.

You will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen staff, managing food preparation, and ensuring that all dishes are made to perfection.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation;
  2. Lead and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring that all culinary tasks are performed to the highest standards;
  3. Implement quality control measures to ensure consistency and excellence across all dishes, with a focus on authentic Italian cuisine;
  4. Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and ingredient storage, prioritizing fresh pasta, meats, seafood, and other key Italian ingredients;
  5. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations;
  6. Develop new menu items, seasonal specials, and innovative Italian dishes, in collaboration with the Head Chef;
  7. Enforce proper food handling procedures, hygiene standards, and safety protocols among kitchen staff;
  8. Support staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations;
  9. Take charge of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
