We are seeking an Oncology Ward Nurse to join our Centre for Urgent Care (CUC) and Royal Marsden Macmillan Hotline (RMMH) at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, based in Chelsea. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, while also supporting junior staff and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills. You will be required to work across both CUC and RMMH, managing patient care through effective coordination and supervision of shifts. Your role will involve educating patients on various aspects of their care, including the management of central venous access devices.

Key qualifications for this position include NMC Registration, evidence of ongoing professional development, and completion of the RMH Certificate in Intravenous Drug Administration within three months of appointment. A qualification in oncology or specialty is desirable, as is experience in chemotherapy administration and clinical trials management. We estimate the salary for this position to be around £42,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience.
