Oncology Nurse Management Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Oncology Nurse to manage our 17-bed ward at The Wellington Hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families while advancing your nursing career.

As Nurse in Charge, you will lead a team of nurses and healthcare assistants, providing expert guidance and support to deliver exceptional patient care. You will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination and communication.

You will be accountable for:

  • Ensuring high-quality patient care and adhering to clinical standards
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff members
  • Facilitating education and training opportunities for nurses and other healthcare professionals

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Significant post-registration experience in Oncology
