About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail Limited. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing your team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in leading the store team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective store operations to maximize sales and minimize costs.
  • Coach and develop your team to achieve their full potential and improve store performance.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to identify and address any operational issues and implement solutions to improve store efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety, stock management, and customer service standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced and high-turnover environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, customer service, and sales growth strategies.
