Deputy Store Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at B&M Retail Limited. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving store performance, leading a team of retail professionals, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in leading a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and achieving business objectives.
- Develop and implement effective store operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day running and maximizing sales potential.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and execute business plans, setting goals and objectives for the store team.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, and promoting a positive, inclusive store culture.
- Coach and develop team members, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback.
- Manage store inventory, stock levels, and merchandise displays, ensuring visual merchandising standards are met.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities to drive sales growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating deals and ensuring timely deliveries.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed business decisions.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, stock control, and visual merchandising.
