Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor/Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our Accounting Insight Advisory Group (AIA) Managers in regard to the profitable running of their client portfolios. This includes working with a team of staff to ensure the highest possible standards of client service, identifying opportunities for growth, and participating in the business development process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to AIA Managers in the profitable running of client portfolios
  • Work with a team of staff to ensure high standards of client service
  • Identify opportunities for growth and participate in business development
  • Prepare financial statements and other accounting documents
  • Liaise with clients throughout the year to practice excellent client service
  • Develop a detailed knowledge of the firm's specialist services and identify opportunities to cross-sell
  • Maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge through reading and courses
  • Support the training and development of staff within the AIA department

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Good understanding of UK financial reporting requirements
  • Experience with accounting packages such as Sage and Xero
  • Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and add value
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong accounts production skills
