Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist Crisis Resolution Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) in Oxfordshire as a Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Occupational Therapist who has a strong understanding of the contribution of Occupational Therapists in supporting individuals in mental health crisis.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and refine the Occupational Therapy pathway within the team, ensuring that services are evidence-based and follow client-centered principles.
- Plan, provide, develop, and evaluate Occupational Therapy within the pathway, including documenting all stages of the process and taking a lead role for defined projects or specialist interventions.
- Manage the Occupational Therapy clinical performance, support the provision of data and reports to demonstrate both activity and outcomes, and provide clinical supervision to the CRHT Occupational therapy staff.
- Work in a recovery-focused, trauma-informed way, providing complex 1:1 occupational therapy assessments and interventions, and act as an intermediary with health and social care to ensure timely access to necessary equipment and assistive technology.
- Post-qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a range of mental health settings.
- Understanding of the application of physical health skills in mental health.
- Ability to manage stressful, upsetting, or emotional situations in an empathic manner, and lead quality improvement and audit.
