Production Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Manager to join our client’s food business. As a leading supplier to major retailers, they are expanding their presence in the market and require a driven individual to lead their quality team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality improvement projects to promote quality awareness throughout the business.
- Collaborate with production to track and report on site KPIs related to quality, both internally and externally.
- Investigate customer complaints and manage the complaints reduction program.
- Implement the HACCP program within the units and provide best practice advice to maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.
- Oversee quality protocols, including Operator PQC checks, metal detection, and pre-startup checks.
- Control the collation, reporting, and corrective actions of held stock.
- Ensure the Quality Team provides training to all levels of factory personnel.
- Address specification and non-conforming materials issues, including isolations, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and preventative measures.
- Identify quality and food safety best practices and lead the development of QA and innovation teams.
- Monitor risk management activities and oversee factory-based root cause analyses.
- Coordinate onsite audits and customer visits.
