About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join our team at Trant Engineering Limited. As a Mechanical Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing a site team, managing subcontractors, delivering works, and ensuring the highest level of safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a site team and ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to complete projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure they are working safely and efficiently.
  • Deliver works to the highest standard, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that the site is left in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Control safety, quality, and environmental activities, ensuring that all projects are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Write and review RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) documents to ensure that all projects are properly planned and executed.
  • Interface with clients to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the work being done.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the M&E Project Manager, highlighting any issues or concerns that may impact the project.
  • Sign off permits for confined space and check and sign off temporary works.

Requirements:

  • HND/BEng in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
  • EUSR Water card.
