Job Summary

Trant Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Site Manager to lead our installation projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring the highest level of safety, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a site team, including direct staff and subcontractors, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the M&E Project Manager to deliver projects that meet client expectations.
  • Control and monitor quality, safety, and environmental activities to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare and review Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure site safety.
  • Interface with clients to provide project updates and ensure their needs are met.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Obtain and sign off permits for confined space and temporary works.

Requirements

  • Excellent technical knowledge of mechanical installation projects.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to motivate and direct site teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with clients and stakeholders.
