About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Technical Officer to join our Technical Services Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for manufacturing aseptically prepared IV medications for patients in a controlled environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Complete GMP and GCP training and ensure refresher training is completed as required.
  • Participate in induction accreditation and sanitisation training.
  • Attend relevant meetings and communicate information effectively.
  • Adhere to Trust Always values and maintain high standards of discipline, personal hygiene, and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • GCSE English Language and Mathematics to a minimum of Grade C/4 (or equivalent).
  • Basic school education and basic mathematics skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and follow procedures at all times.
  • Commitment to work a maximum 1 in 6 weekend rota from 9am - 5pm, Saturdays and Sundays.
