About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Technical Officer to join our Technical Services Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for manufacturing aseptically prepared IV medications for patients in a controlled environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Completion of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) training and adherence to GMP guidelines
  • Completion of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training and adherence to GCP guidelines
  • Induction accreditation and sanitisation training
  • Attending meetings and communicating information
  • Adherence to Trust Always values

Requirements

  • Basic school education (GCSE or Equivalent)
  • Basic mathematics (with at least a Pass in GCSE or Equivalent)
  • Good understanding of spoken and written English
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a team and attend work in a timely manner
