Returns Team Leader Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Returns Team Leader to join our Warehouse team at Oliver Bonas. As a key member of our Returns Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our returns process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process returned stock from our website via external carrier services and internal drivers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of returns data, including damaged stock trend analysis.
  • Complete all associated paperwork and system updates to ensure stock is processed accurately.
  • Redistribute stock to relevant pick locations in the warehouse, web fulfillment, and stores.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate inventory movement to quarantined locations.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service team to ensure accurate paperwork for refund purposes.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our warehouse management system (Peoplevox), stores EPOS system (Futura), and ecommerce platform (Magento).
  • Review returns processes to identify productivity and efficiency improvements.
  • Conduct team 1:1s with the support of the Head of Fulfillment and Returns, providing coaching and constructive feedback.
  • Implement KPIs to ensure the team achieves agreed productivity targets.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Approachable and adaptable with a patient and calm demeanor.
  • Able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Positive and professional manner with good attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
