Job Description:

The Childcare Assistant (Permanent, Part Time) role is responsible for providing high-quality support and care to children and young people with additional support needs. This involves working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure that each child receives the support they need to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with children and young people. They will also have a strong focus on maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour and relationships.
  • Administering medication and personal care as necessary.
