About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Trust, resulting from a large-scale transformation programme. We are seeking an experienced Registered Allied Health Professional or Nurse to fill a dynamic matron post.

This Modern Matron will provide high-quality leadership, ensuring robust arrangements for evidence-based clinical service delivery to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a complex clinical caseload in respective fields, requiring ongoing professional knowledge and personal development.
  • Provide clinical leadership in developing clinical/standard operational processes, ensuring adherence to policies and practices for all services.
  • Support the Divisional on-call rota as requested.
  • Review and improve services with Divisional colleagues, considering local and national guidelines and guidance from Professional Leads.
  • Work with DDNT & Professional Lead to develop strategic quality improvement overviews, providing leadership and clinical support to staff.

We seek applicants with excellent interpersonal, communication, and planning skills. You will need to be flexible, adaptable, have an interest in quality improvement, and promote good practice and relationships within multi-professional working.

The post holder will oversee clinical effectiveness, responding to Complaints, Patient Experience, and Staff Survey feedback. This information will inform improvements in care delivery.
