Governance Manager – British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Manager to support our Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive with governance matters. This role will involve managing the Board's cycles and committees, drafting meeting agendas, papers, and minutes, and working on the organization's strategies and frameworks.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with the Board and senior management team. They will also have a strong understanding of governance principles and practices, with experience of managing Board cycles and committees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Board's cycles and committees, including drafting meeting agendas, papers, and minutes
  • Work on the organization's strategies and frameworks, including governance and compliance
  • Support the Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive with governance matters
  • Develop and implement governance policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of governance principles and practices
  • Experience of managing Board cycles and committees
  • Ability to work effectively with the Board and senior management team
