Support Professional for SEND and SEMH

We are seeking dedicated professionals to work as Special Education Professionals in Wigan. This role involves delivering tailored learning strategies, developing EHCPs, and providing specialist support to children with autism.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, with experience working with children, particularly those with autism and SEMH needs. A DBS check is required, and a valid driver's licence is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational plans for children with special educational needs.
  • Provide specialist support to children with autism, using appropriate techniques to enhance their learning experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate these findings to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in special education or a related field is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with children and families.
  • A compassionate, patient, and inspiring approach to educating and supporting children.

Estimated Salary:£28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
