Care Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:
Home Instead is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Care Operations Supervisor. As a key member of our care operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our care services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to our care professionals in their day-to-day job, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to deliver exceptional care.
- Onboard new care professionals and introduce them to our clients, ensuring a smooth transition and excellent client experience.
- Carry out introductions every time a care professional is matched with a client for the first time, ensuring a strong foundation for a successful care relationship.
- Support, supervise, and mentor all care professionals, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow and develop in their roles.
- Ensure all services are compliant with legislations, CQC standards, and regulations, maintaining a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Ensure the recording of all necessary information is clear and legible, in line with our record-keeping policies and procedures.
- Respond to queries from clients in a timely and professional manner, providing reassurance and support when needed.
- Deliver care calls as required in emergencies and gaps in the rota, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to our clients' needs.
- Take a turn on a rota basis to manage the office on-call telephone support service, providing 24/7 support to our clients and care professionals.
- Continually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is being delivered, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements:
- Hold, or be working towards, a minimum QCF/NVQ level 3 qualification in Social Care.
- Understanding of CQC assessment criteria for Outstanding scores, with a passion for delivering exceptional care.
- Extremely well-organized, with excellent planning and prioritizing ability, and a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a strong focus on building trust and rapport with clients and care professionals.
