About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Programme Leader to join our team at Sound and Music. As a key member of our Programmes Team, you will play a vital role in delivering our artist development programmes, awards, and commissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the delivery of our artist development programmes, working closely with composers and artists to support their artistic and professional development.
  • Work with the Head of Programmes, Creative Programme Leaders, and the Executive and Programmes Coordinator to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of our programme activities.
  • Support our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, contributing to a culture of respect and collaboration in the organisation's internal and external activities.
Requirements
  • A strong alignment with our vision, mission, and values.
  • Experience in delivering artist development programmes or equivalent transferable experience.
  • Knowledge of the new music sector, including funding opportunities, artistic collaborations, and partnership opportunities.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as self-manage and work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including emotional intelligence, empathy, and listening skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse artists, communicating with curiosity and without judgment.
  • Attentive to detail while handling a varied and demanding workload.
