We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paediatric Respite Nurse to join our team at James Hopkins Trust. As a Paediatric Respite Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respite care to children with life-limiting conditions in their own homes or at our respite centre, Kites Corner.
- Work closely with families to understand their needs and develop individualised care plans.
- Administer medication, manage medical equipment, and provide emotional support to children and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss care plans and share best practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
- Registered Children's Nurse (RNC) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with paediatric experience.
- Current NMC registration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Willingness to undertake further training and professional development.
