Exciting Opportunity as an Academic Support Mentor

We are seeking passionate and committed Academic Support Mentors to assist students in reaching their educational and personal aspirations within our organization.

  • Position: Academic Support Mentor
  • Hours: 37 hours per week (term time only)
  • Salary: Starting at £22, pro rata
  • Type: Permanent
  • Start: Immediate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide students in their behavioral growth
  • Assist students with special educational needs in meeting their objectives
  • Participate in educational activities and initiatives
  • Effectively manage challenging behaviors
  • Serve as a positive role model for students

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Behavioral or Learning Mentor is preferred
  • Experience in special educational needs, challenging behavior, coaching, or youth work is desirable
  • Dedication to the welfare and safeguarding of young individuals
  • Empathetic, patient, and resilient demeanor
