Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our primary school community. As an LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' learning and development, helping to create a positive and nurturing environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups, assisting with their learning needs across all areas of the curriculum.
* Work closely with the class teacher to implement learning plans and strategies, ensuring all students have the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting confidence, independence, and positive behavior.
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning needs, helping to adapt resources and teaching methods as required.
* Assist with classroom organization, preparation of learning materials, and maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with children, ideally within a school setting.
* A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* A commitment to promoting an inclusive, supportive, and motivating learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
