We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Ribbons & Reeves. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL) in a dynamic and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum and achieve academic success.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt lesson plans and learning materials, promoting inclusive education and student engagement.
  • Support students' personal and academic development, fostering independence and confidence in their abilities.
  • Assist students with EAL, helping to improve their communication and comprehension skills.
  • Contribute to the positive and inclusive culture of the school, ensuring every student feels valued and supported.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students who have SEN or EAL in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
