Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Secondary School in Earl's Court, Hammersmith & Fulham. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing in-class support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or English as an Additional Language (EAL), as well as those who require additional support in specific subject areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with SEN or EAL, as well as those who require additional support in specific subject areas.
- Assist teachers in creating and implementing individualized learning plans for students.
- Help students with homework and assignments, and provide additional support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure that students receive the support they need.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and new initiatives.
Requirements:
- First-Class or 2:1 degree from a Top UK University
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for working with students and making a positive impact on their lives
