About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional HR Business Partner to join our team at abrdn. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our HR agenda within a defined business area.

Reporting to the HR Director, you will work closely with business leaders to develop and implement appropriate organizational design, structures, and job roles.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Using data and analytics to inform change initiatives at a strategic level
  • Collaborating with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned to abrdn's strategic objectives
  • Leading critical business and HR function projects
  • Creating strategic partnerships with leaders and establishing a licence to operate
  • Developing and implementing talent and resourcing strategies to deliver the right people in the right place at the right time with the right skills
  • Working with senior business leaders to proactively plan, advise, and support the implementation of change, its impact on people and working practices
  • Forming strong and influential relationships between self, leaders, and HR function colleagues to deliver strategic value to abrdn
  • Leveraging the breadth of CoEs to the business to drive employee engagement initiatives and plans for retaining and winning top talent

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced HR professional who has a track record of delivering results under tight deadlines. You will have a strong relationship-building skillset, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to influence change.

You will be aware of what and how the wider business strategy can be supported by the HR function and have experience coaching and mentoring line managers, project consultants, and CoE partners.
