Job Title: Warehouse Rigging Technician

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Rigging Manager in preparing rigging equipment and metalwork to the Company's standards and within deadlines.
  • Work as part of a team in the preparation, cleaning, verification, testing, and returning of rigging equipment and hardware.
  • Check equipment in as directed by the Rigging Manager, ensuring stock is accurately reconciled on the WINHITS database.
  • Support the Rigging Manager with routine maintenance and repair of equipment where needed.
  • Assist with regular truss inspections and accurate recording.
  • Ensure the Company's quality standards are maintained at all times.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technology within the department.
  • Adhere to the LEAN process at all times.
  • Ensure the department is kept tidy and orderly at all times.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of the industry and previous experience within a warehouse environment.
  • Competent in using workshop tools and equipment safely.
  • Good understanding of the Company's product range and procedures.
  • Previous experience with preparing and testing rigging and control equipment would be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of electric chain hoist mains and basic electricity.
  • Ability to learn and retain information in a reasonable time frame.
  • Conscientious with a good eye for detail.
