Warehouse Rigging Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Rigging Assistant to join our team at the NEC Group. As a key member of our rigging department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our events and exhibitions.

About the Role

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment. You will work closely with our rigging team to prepare equipment for installation, transport, and maintenance. Your attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of equipment for installation, transportation, and maintenance
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Manage the storage and retrieval of rigging equipment
  • Work closely with the rigging team to ensure the smooth operation of events and exhibitions
  • Perform other duties as required to support the rigging department
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stock management environment
  • Knowledge of rigging equipment and techniques
  • Forklift license (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
