University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a skilled Histopathology Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients. The role will involve working across the full range of services provided by the Histology Department, including dissection/loading, embedding, microtomy, Special stains, and IHC.
As a specialist in Histopathology, the post holder will be responsible for following standard operating procedures and supporting the implementation of improved or best practices. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of the workforce into a range of laboratory, line management, and advanced practice roles.
The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
