Veterinary Diagnostic Expert Required

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Pathologist to join our laboratory team in Coventry. The successful candidate will have excellent diagnostic skills and be able to interpret laboratory results accurately. They will also possess strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other members of the laboratory team.

About the Role:
The Clinical Veterinary Pathologist will be responsible for analysing and interpreting veterinary specimens, including tissues, organs, and bodily fluids. They will also be required to maintain detailed records of cases and communicate effectively with veterinarians and clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a veterinary pathologist, preferably in a diagnostic laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform histopathological examinations of veterinary specimens.
  2. Analyse and interpret laboratory results to provide accurate diagnoses.
  3. Maintain detailed records of cases.
  4. Communicate effectively with veterinarians and clients.
  5. Stay current with advances in veterinary pathology.
Requirements:
  1. DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent degree.
  2. Board certification in veterinary pathology (ACVP or ECVP) is preferred.
  3. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a veterinary pathologist.
  4. Strong knowledge of veterinary anatomy, histology, and pathology.
  5. Proficiency in histopathological techniques and interpretation of microscopic findings.
