Clinical Veterinary Nurse Job

Vetisco is seeking a Clinical Veterinary Nurse to join our team at our Birmingham Animal Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy veterinary hospital and develop your skills as a Veterinary Nurse.

About the Role:
  • As a Clinical Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct medical and surgical patient care for a diverse range of animal species.
  • You will work closely with our experienced nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have registered RCVS registration, proven experience working in a relevant discipline, and strong communication skills. You will also be required to maintain accurate clinical records and assist with anaesthetic monitoring and theatre practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct medical and surgical patient care for a diverse range of animal species.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical hygiene and biosecurity throughout the hospital.
  • Assist with perioperative nursing care and theatre practice in our modern operating suite.
Requirements:
  • Registered Vet Nurse with current RCVS registration.
  • Proven experience working in a relevant discipline, such as a veterinary practice, wildlife rehabilitation, or animal centre.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Estimated Salary:

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
