The role of a Pharmacy Assistant Officer at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is to provide essential support to the dispensary team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of day-to-day activities in the dispensary, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Carry out duties under the supervision of the Pharmacy Distribution Services Manager.
Aseptic Services

Tidy, clean, and disinfect the Aseptic Services environment and equipment according to local SOPs. Assist with environmental monitoring in Aseptic services. Produce and keep records as defined by local SOP, and as required by the Associate Director and Chief Technician.

Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services, or willingness to undertake an Apprenticeship in Pharmacy Services.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and patients.
