Kitchen Coordinator

St Philips Care Group is looking for a skilled kitchen coordinator to join our team in Sleaford. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals and beverages, working within the home's policies, and ensuring a high standard of hygiene is maintained at all times.

The successful candidate will have a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 2 or 706/2 in Catering and basic or intermediate food hygiene certificate. Knowledge of textured and modified diets is also highly desirable. While experience in a care, hospital, or commercial kitchen setting is beneficial, it is not essential as full training can be provided.

In this role, you will be expected to order food, use resources effectively, attend mandatory and in-house training as required, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene records as needed. A good verbal and written skill set, along with the ability to relate to residents in a kind and courteous manner, is crucial for success in this position.

We offer a competitive salary of £20,000 - £23,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with benefits including a four-weekly pay period, full training given, paid induction and shadow shifts, e-learning incentive scheme, paid holiday, flexible opportunities to fit around your life, rewards scheme for all staff, and refer-a-friend bonus scheme worth £100.00.
