Job Summary:

People Solutions is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to work with our well-established client in the Automotive sector. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing operating environments, identifying process inefficiencies, and implementing improvements to increase labor utilization and reduce waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze operating environments to identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct time and motion studies to optimize work methods
  • Implement process improvements to increase labor utilization and reduce waste
  • Design and test new methods to improve efficiency
  • Prepare work-analysis information and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Complete work improvement projects by training and guiding operators and supervisors
  • Protect organizational value by maintaining confidentiality and cautioning others regarding potential breaches

Requirements:

  • At least two years' experience working in the automotive sector in a similar role
  • Competence in problem-solving methodologies, primarily Ishikawa and 5why
  • Computer literacy with all Microsoft Office packages
  • Effective communication skills (verbal & written), coupled with good numeric skills to present facts for demonstration purposes
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to undertake a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints
  • Ability to comprehend complex instructions and respond effectively and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly
